Collective Color donates its time and effort to the Widows, Orphans, and Disabled Firemen’s Fund by supporting its many printing needs and saving the charity thousands of dollars. It’s a relationship mutually appreciated by both parties.
As a printing business, Collective Color networks with small businesses, large corporations, and non-profit organizations on the West Coast by creating and producing advertisements, banners, posters, pamphlets and many other types of prints. Helping Widows & Orphans offers a unique way for the business to spread the word.
“It’s allowed us the opportunity to showcase some of the printing products and services that we offer other than magazine printing,” said Carlos Vargas, Collective Color’s Director of Sales & Marketing. He carries many responsibilities at the printing company and handles new business development.
Collective Color prides itself on top notch, personalized service and wants its customers to have their needs met 110% of the time. And company employees say they feel rewarded whenever they get the opportunity to help out the firefighters and their families, whether it’s producing printed materials for events like the Hope for Firefighters and the LAFD Invitational golf tournament or creating special thank you cards.
Juan-Carlos Sanchez, the charity’s Graphic Arts Project Coordinator, said, “We couldn’t do what we do without the quality support of Carlos Vargas and the entire Collective Color group. They’re an integral part of the Relief Association and Widows & Orphans family.”
