Our 2018 L.A. Fire marathon team is proud to thank PMK•BNC for their incredible dedication to our firefighters! Seven amazing employees trained hard for the 26.2 mile L.A. Marathon race and working even harder to raise money for our Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen’s Fund.
PMK•BNC has a longstanding legacy as an agency deeply rooted in entertainment. Most of our key leaders have remained with the company for decades and devoted much of their efforts to building PMK•BNC into what it is today. We are committed to building a team of the most distinguished and creative professionals to ensure we are constantly evolving our practice and producing the best possible work for our clients. We offer team members a vibrant and exciting place to work. We recognize that our people are vital to the success of our company and that hiring and retaining the brightest employees has a direct impact on client service, business development and overall agency performance.
Meet the PMK•BNC Team
Aditya Rao – Adi Rao has been an Angeleno for 5 years now, making him an LA vet. While has never ran a marathon before, he has always wanted to and figured there would be no better time than NOW to train and run his very first marathon with his fellow PMK colleagues! His previous racing experience has been limited to 5k road races but is looking forward to the challenge to training and completing the race in March 2018.
Casey Christensen moved from Phoenix to LA to attend UCLA, where she was inspired to sign up for her first half marathon. She completed the Nike Women’s Half in 2014 and has been hooked on running ever since. From stadium to sea, Casey has enjoyed running the LA marathon the past two years and is hoping that the third time is a charm!
Genesa Garbarino is a Chicago native, former New Yorker and now, a happy Angeleno. Her first race was the NYC Half in 2008 and she’s loved running ever since. This will be her FIRST full marathon and she’s looking forward to training with her favorite PMKers.
Justin Nanfelt hails from Boston where he grew up running to stay in shape for lacrosse season in high school and college. He ran half-marathons in Stockholm in 2005, Chicago in 2006 and ran the full Chicago marathon in 2007. He only trained for a month and a half for the full marathon, so his goal this time around is to beat both his earlier time and his sister-in-law (who beat him by 4 minutes the following year).
Mike Lowry is a native of Detroit and has always been passionate about running. As an avid runner, he has dozens of 5K and 10K Charitable runs under his belt, but this will be his first Marathon. His will to achieve this goal is for his 3 kids to teach them a golden rule: “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”
Robert Santini is a native Angeleno who will be running his 4th full marathon. No stranger to the LA “Stadium to the Sea” course, he ran the race back in 2010 and 2011. In 2014, he moved to New York City and in 2015, he ran the NY Marathon with Project Purple raising money and awareness to fight pancreatic cancer. Now back in his native home of Los Angeles, Robert is looking forward to join his fellow LA PMKers to run LA again while encouraging friends, family and colleagues to do the same.
Madelyn Rollofson is excited to be running with the LA Marathon team, she loves to run and enjoys working out on the weekends when she is not working on the entertainment team at the various events we produce and execute all year. Running around carpets has equipped her for the LA Marathon.
