As a special thank you to our valiant LAFD firefighters for tremendous work during the December firestorms raging across Southern California, the producers of FOX’s live musical event “A Christmas Story, Live!” and our wonderful friends at FOX and Warner Bros., invited LAFD firefighters and their families to watch this exclusive, TV production in person.
During the live broadcast, the show’s young star voiced a special tribute to these courageous first responders as the cameras showed the firefighters standing on the historic Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.
Inspired by the classic holiday film & Tony-nominated Broadway musical, the show starred Maya Rudolph, Matthew Broderick, Jane Krakowski, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ana Gasteyer, Ken Jeong, David Alan Grier, newcomer Andy Walken and PRETTYMUCH.
We are honored by this delightful opportunity for our firefighter families and extend our gratitude to everyone at FOX and Warner Bros., including LAFD family member, Mamie Coleman. We are proud of all our firefighters for their bravery and dedication to protecting the lives and property of others, not only during times of crisis, but each and every day.
