Wild Fork is stepping up for the Salute to Firefighters Food Festival by sponsoring two food booths that will be staffed by Fire Station 2 and their resident firehouse chef, Firefighter Paramedic Henry Hsieh. What began as a single fundraising event has grown into a hands-on community partnership that now includes a meaningful festival sponsorship.
Wild Fork Joins Forces with Station 2
At a recent tasting lunch at Station 2, Wild Fork provided meats and pre-cooked items that let the crew focus on hospitality and taste-testing. Henry Hsieh ran the kitchen, turning those ingredients into comfort-forward dishes like fried chicken, waffles, collard greens, and mac salad. The lunch was an exciting way for some of Wild Fork’s team to get a preview of the southern-style cuisine Station 2 will bring to the festival.
Wild Fork’s sponsorship of two booths ensures Station 2 can deliver a big presence at the Salute to Firefighters Food Festival. Their donations and support help the station concentrate on the important stuff–cooking and engaging with attendees. For Wild Fork, the festival is an opportunity to showcase their wide selection of proteins and ready meals while supporting a cause that directly benefits firefighter families.
