Firehouse Flavors Powered by Wild Fork at Salute to Firefighters Festival & Car Show

Wild Fork is stepping up for the Salute to Firefighters Food Festival by sponsoring two food booths that will be staffed by Fire Station 2 and their resident firehouse chef, Firefighter Paramedic Henry Hsieh. What began as a single fundraising event has grown into a hands-on community partnership that now includes a meaningful festival sponsorship.

Wild Fork Joins Forces with Station 2

At a recent tasting lunch at Station 2, Wild Fork provided meats and pre-cooked items that let the crew focus on hospitality and taste-testing. Henry Hsieh ran the kitchen, turning those ingredients into comfort-forward dishes like fried chicken, waffles, collard greens, and mac salad. The lunch was an exciting way for some of Wild Fork’s team to get a preview of the southern-style cuisine Station 2 will bring to the festival.

Wild Fork’s sponsorship of two booths ensures Station 2 can deliver a big presence at the Salute to Firefighters Food Festival. Their donations and support help the station concentrate on the important stuff–cooking and engaging with attendees. For Wild Fork, the festival is an opportunity to showcase their wide selection of proteins and ready meals while supporting a cause that directly benefits firefighter families.

Wild Fork is home to the largest variety of ethically sourced meat and premium seafood out of any other grocery retailer with over 700 products from exotic meats to delectable desserts. Wild Fork features storefronts across the U.S. and Canada. They offer high-quality meats and flash-frozen foods that have been hand-selected and taste-tested by Wild Fork Foods product developers. Visit www.WildForkFoods.com to find a location near you or order meat delivery to your door.

Wild Fork’s dedication to giving back to their community has blossomed overtime into event sponsorship, and sets a great example for how businesses can start small and grow their partnership into long-lasting relationships with LA firefighters, our charity and the families they serve. [CP2] We appreciate Wild Fork’s commitment to corporate responsibility, Station 2 and to the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firefighter’s Fund. Their support helps fund programs that provide essential resources to families recovering from loss and displacement. Thank you to Wild Fork, Fire Station 2, Henry Hsieh, and everyone who helped bring this lunch and upcoming festival presence to life.
