What began as a casual night out for firefighters after the strain of the day has since turned into one of the charity’s most exciting fundraising events. Now, anyone can knock down the pins for a worthy cause.
Corbin Bowl in Tarzana, California, hosts the annual Firefighters Bowling Benefit, which raises money for the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen’s Fund. Sign up to play or simply donate by contacting Gary or Rose of Corbin Bowl at (818) 996-BOWL. Anyone that gives $200 or more is put on a special plaque wall.

Founded more than a century ago by firefighters who “passed the boot” to help an injured or fallen comrade, the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen’s Fund is a 501(c)(3) managed by the Los Angeles Firemen's Relief Association.
